What we collect
When you create an account or request a brief, we collect your name, email, watchlist (competitors, topics, URLs), and usage events needed to run the product (briefs generated, downloads). Payment is processed by the merchant of record named at checkout; we do not store full card numbers.
When you use the contact form, we also collect your name, email, phone if you provide it, and your message, and we use them only to reply. We do not add that address to a marketing list.
How we use it
To operate the software: authenticate you, run scout-agents, store briefs in your library, send transactional notices (for example, “brief ready”), and improve the product. We do not sell personal data.
Sources we scan
Research uses public web only (pricing pages, blogs, public job listings, press). We do not bypass logins, paywalls, or CAPTCHAs, and we do not scrape personal employee profiles.
Processors
Hosting, auth, and file storage run on our cloud providers (currently Vercel, Railway, and Supabase). Payments and related invoices go through the merchant of record named at checkout.
